The service

PDFHook provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF and document files. The tools are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the documents you process and for keeping copies of anything important — PDFHook does not retain your files, so once you close the tab, only the copies you've downloaded remain. This includes passwords used with Protect PDF: PDFHook does not store them, so a forgotten password cannot be recovered.

Acceptable use

Use PDFHook only for lawful purposes, and only on documents you have the right to edit, convert, sign or distribute.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use of PDFHook after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
